Terms of Service

Cashlog is operated by TZ Studios. By creating an account or using Cashlog at cashlog.co, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

Cashlog is a time tracking and invoicing tool for freelancers and independent contractors. We provide a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. Features and pricing are described at cashlog.co and may change with reasonable notice.

2. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cashlog. Accounts are for individual use; you may not share your account with others.

3. Trial and subscription

New accounts receive a free trial period. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue creating and editing data. You may browse existing data without a subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Polar and are subject to Polar's payment terms. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Your data

You own your data. We do not claim any rights over the clients, sessions, invoices, or other content you create in Cashlog. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Cashlog — including the data you enter — complies with applicable laws, including tax and invoicing regulations in your jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Cashlog to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the rights of any third party
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the service for other users
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Cashlog available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing the service entirely, during which time you will be able to export your data.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Cashlog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific purposes. You use Cashlog at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TZ Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Cashlog, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Cashlog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
